Do I understand it correctly that this issue does not depend at all on screen resolution? No matter what resolution you will set, from very low to native, the issue is the same? Do you observe the same lag with scrolling by both mouse and keyboard? Panzer Corps allows to scroll the map with both mouse and keyboard (arrow buttons). As I understand, there is a video illustrating this issue, but I have not seen it, so can anyone share it here? The issue seems to be more pronounced with diagonal scrolling, which makes sense, because the area to redraw is the biggest in this case. This issue seems to be somehow related to painting sprites with alpha channel on the screen, like movement area and units, but map tiles also have a lot of semi-transparent areas and are painted by exactly the same code, so this is not helping us much. Does ANYONE have this issue with standalone version? Some people have reported that they observed this issue with Steam, but not with Slitherine's standalone version on the same machine. This issue seems to be specific to Steam version of the game only.

The issue seems to be specific to Windows 10 only, and has appeared after KB4100347 update. Correct me if I am wrong, or if there is something which I missed. I have reread the topic, and will try to summarize what I learned. I don't think game code has a bug per se, but it must be doing something which conflicts with its "environment" in certain situations. I'm not seeing it on any of my Windows 10 machines (writing right now from a Win 10 1809).
