That isn’t a bad thing though, because stellar work from People Can Fly fuses that idea with the third person shooter skills they picked up from their work on Gears of War. Outriders followed a character you created that got caught in a massive storm on the planet Enoch called the Anomaly, which changed your internal composition and basically makes you a Guardian from Destiny. Let’s start with square one this isn’t going to be much different than what you’ve been playing in the main game. As per usual, we have played around with this one before launch to give you the skinny, and after some time with it we’re thrilled with the results. Even though the team said they weren’t planning any DLC, the largely good reception to Outriders spurred them to continue on with it, and Worldslayer was born. What was really surprising was the game requiring an Internet connection even though it was largely single-player and co-op no strikes, raids, DLC or microtransactions. Sure, it didn’t do anything over the top or innovative in a video game, but it was a generally clean experience that was a lot of fun to play. Then there's the Outriders Worldslayer bundle, which includes the base game and Worldslayer for £54.99/$59.99, which is also currently on sale, for £49.49/$53.99.If you remember, we really enjoyed Outriders when it was released last year.
#When does outriders come out upgrade
If you're playing through Xbox Game Pass (Palm adds that Outriders will be on Xbox Game Pass for "a while longer"), you'll still need to upgrade to Outriders Worldslayer to play the new content. If you own the base game, you can choose the Outriders Worldslayer upgrade for £32.99/$39.99 and currently on sale for £29.69/$35.99. Outriders Worldslayers launches on June 30th. At tier 40, your Max Gear Equip Level will be Level 75, which is the new level cap." Along with all this, Worldslayer will also add a new endgame and new legendary gear. Meanwhile, the Apocalypse system adds up to 40 Apocalypse Tiers, which Palm warns "may well pose some of the greatest challenges players will need to surmount in Worldslayer. The decision is yours and no choice is permanent, thanks to the ever-present option to respec at any time."
Or, alternatively, you could boost your firepower while at the same time increasing your resistances. "You could, for example, choose to max out your cooldown reduction using the Ascension system. When you level up, you'll gain a point to use for one of four categories in the Ascension system.
"While the max character level remains 30 in Worldslayer, Ascension allows you to add another 200 levels on top of that," we're told. "Every choice you make in the Pax tree will be impactful to the performance of your Outrider." It is worth mentioning that each node in the Pax tree is equivalent to the major nodes in the original class trees," Palm adds.
Each of the in-total-five available points will unlock upon completion of significant events in Worldslayer. "Unlocking points to invest into the Pax class tree requires you to progress through Worldslayer’s main campaign. Worldslayer also introduces Pax class trees, and Outriders community lead Toby Palm says each class will have its own Pax class tree. In the new campaign, the Anomaly on Enoch has grown stronger as humanity has, and "has begun to inflict blizzards, frost storms and flash freezes onto the planet, which puts almost everything on the planet in grave danger." The Outriders will be sent off over Enoch to try and solve the problem, which is when they'll come across a new Altered known as Ereshkigal. If you're in the midst of hunting those Outriders achievements and are hoping for new content, then you're in luck: Outriders Worldslayer arrives in June with a host of new content.
